Plastic Punch is a nongovernmental organization founded in 2018 to fight against pollution plastic in Ghana. Located in the Capital, Accra, where quantities of waste concentrates, increasing the insalubrity of the city, the diseases, the pests ... It is with the aim of improving the living conditions of the inhabitants and increase the city's healthiness that Plastic Punch acts. The organization raises awareness about the effects of plastic waste by organizing beach and city cleanings, by offering workshops to inform on waste management, etc. By joining forces with the MJE IPSEA, Plastic Punch wishes to study the possibility of setting up bio-sourced food packaging from coconut fibers in order to replace single-use plastic packaging. In this project, many collaborators participate such as the NGO and its partners, Ghanaian students. Thus, this project represents an opportunity for the local population, and for the country .
